Chief Justice Renato Corona reappears in a wheelchair after leaving the Senate

Chief Justice Renato Corona is wheeled out of the Senate session hall after he was discharged by Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile. Corona had walked out after his testimony. His lawyers claimed he suffered from a hypoglycemic episode, or low blood sugar. Corona is a diabetic. Chief Justice Renato Corona reappears in a wheelchair after leaving the Senate impeachment court at the end of his opening statement. Corona’s departure from the Senate hall after signing a waiver to open his ban accounts caused confusion and commotion in the impeachment court.
