Sa mga kagaya ko na napi-pressure ngayon sa kanya-kanyang mga buhay. Masasabi ko lang sa mga pinag dadaanan natin “dahan-dahan lang, kaya natin ‘to”
Alam ko kung gaano kahirap mabuhay na puno ng mga expectations sa sarili. Mga expectations na nag papahirap sa atin. Alam naman natin na we are trying kahit gaano pa kahirap ay sinusubukan pa rin natin para lang at least maging proud sila sa atin.
Maybe at some point, napapabayaan na din natin ang ating mental and physical health at nahihirapan na din tayo.

But there are people who cannot let go of their pasts. Some still beat themselves over their past mistakes. Some still resents themselves for doing what they had to do in order to survive. The past is crippling, indeed.
“Are we not supposed to value things we worked so hard for? All those wasted time, efforts, and money for nothing? Or did they intend to love the fruit of their labor only to realize that it was not what they wanted after all?”

When you see me shrinking away from everyone including you and you assume that I must find you repulsive, believe me when I say that it wasn’t like that. No. It wasn’t like that. Far from it, as a matter of fact.
