True freedom comes from the heart. If you realise that all things change, there is nothing you will try to hold on to. If you let go a little, you will have a little peace. If you let go a lot, you will have a lot of peace. If you let go completely, you will discover complete peace and that, you’ll have freedom.
1. Break the rules. Find your freedom. Live your life.
People are happier when they are free. Go and find your freedom. Come out from your comfort zone. Don’t be afraid to show the world what you’ve got. Live your life to the fullest. Don’t bother what other people might say against you. Who cares? Just be you!
2. Freedom is never given; It is won.
Hindi basta-basta nakukuha ang kalayaan. Kailangan mo magsikap at magtiis. Kelangan mo malampasan ang hamon ng buhay. You need to be brave at all times. Kasi wala kang ibang kakampi kundi ang sarili mo lamang. Ang taong masikap, hindi pinapabayaan ni God.
3. The free man is he who does not fear to go to the end of his thought.
True freedom doesn’t found in the beginning. It is found at the end of your journey. Kung sa una pa lang, gusto mo na sumuko hindi mo na maaabot yung kalayaan na gusto mo. Never be afraid of the hindrances, think of the beautiful output if you’ll continue until the end.
4. Real freedom is not what we acquire. It is what we think.
Our hearts see and desire something it cannot live without. If our hearts are not changed, neither will our behavior change. That’s why the Bible says that true freedom begins in the heart. We act on our thoughts and behave according to our desires.
5. Seriously, life is better when you decide you don’t care.
When someone is being free and living as freely as possible they make decisions on their own no matter what the consequence may be. Those who live life freely also don’t blame anyone else but their selves for the choices that they make because they solely made these decisions.
6. People never use the freedom they have. Instead they demand the freedom they don’t have.
Freedom means more than just ‘free to do whatever I want’. Some people are just not contented on the things they have or the way they live. They crave for more, that’s why they don’t get the freedom they want. Appreciate the freedom you have right now. Hindi mo alam, yun na pa lang yung freedom na hinahanap mo. Hindi mo lang nakikita kasi busy ka sa pag-intindi ng kalayaan ng iba.
7. Some people say you are going the wrong way, when it’s simply a way of your own.
Being free also makes a person own up to the choices that they make and have made in the past, and require them to accept responsibility for the direction that their life is headed in. You now you’re on the right track when you feel the happiness comes from within. Don’t mind what other people throws to you. All that matter is you’re living your life the way you want it to be.
In the process of being free there are certain things an individual must do to unbound the chains of life. Some may recommend living life freely with no concerns or cares in the world, and some may think of it as a selfish and immature life, nevertheless being free is a life that many choose to live. True freedom only exists in Jesus Christ. How does it happen? God changes our heart by His Holy Spirit. God makes us spiritually alive by giving us a new heart. This heart desires to love God. By faith, we give our life to Jesus and receive His forgiveness and freedom from sin.
